Meccon Industries, Inc. constantly strives to meet and exceed our customer quality expectation and comply with code, industry and customer standards.

We continue to improve our Corporate Q.A. procedures, methods, training and controls, then incorporate these into our Q.A. Manual and field work. Meccon has qualified the Weld Procedure Qualification Records (PQR’s) and Weld Procedure Specifications (WPS’s) used in welding processes that include, but are not limited to carbon steel, stainless steel, various chrome and alloy steels, and procedures involving carbon to stainless, carbon to chrome, chrome to stainless. Meccon exceeds the current OHSA Hexavalent Chromium Standard Expose Rate of 5 micrograms per cubic meter to less than 1 microgram per cubic meter.

Meccons’ documentation of all processes used in the field or for shop fabrication has been improved for ease of customer verification and review.

In keeping with producing quality welds at an increased productive rate, Meccon has invested in state of the art pulse welding machines/processes and multiple small bore pipe fabrication positioners that enable us to provide our customers a quality product within a timely production schedule and at very competitive pricing.

The Meccon Quality Assurance Program has been accredited by both the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors (NBIC). Meccon has acquired and maintains the “R”, “S” and “PP” Stamps.

Meccon quality is in a constant state of evolution, not only to keep pace with industry standards and code applications, but also to be an industry leader in the field of quality assurance and quality control.
