Airside Apron Improvements

Decommissioning and removal of the existing Jet-A and Avgas fuel systems. Installation of a new Jet-A fuel hydrant consisting of 5,000' of 10" fuel main with 20 new hydrant pits, 4 concrete valve vaults and 2 isolation valve pits. Meccon is responsible for all of the quality control, pressure testing and flushing operations. Installation of a new leak detection system. Installation of cathodic protection equipment. Horizontal Directional Drilled 3 shafts of 1,100' for two 10" fuel transmission mains and 4-4" HDPE Conduitsunder runways and taxiways.
